Boy OH BOY!

20th May 2022

Praise the Lord for another little miracle! We’re about to become a family of 6 (God + us + children!) …and we’re praying fervently that Abigail will adjust well to life as a big sister. Baby-J03 is on the way, and due in early August!

This is an interesting story… and sorry for the super late announcement:

I started to feel a little strange in January – a lot of fatigue and nausea! Then, in late January, I began throwing up everything I ate and drank – even water! It was awful and I felt SO weak, I could barely walk! It was around the same time that lots of people were getting the flu, cold and/or covid… but my symptoms didn’t match up to that! I felt that it was pregnancy, so I booked an appointment with my previous midwife. At the appointment – in mid February – she tested my urine and confirmed pregnancy… and then she felt my stomach and said that she thinks that I’m about 16-18 weeks !!!! Only God knows the shock that I felt when I heard that! It was then that it hit me – as I also got to hear the baby’s heartbeat 💕 The shock was numbing, but it started to sink in that Abigail was going to be a BIG SISTER!

I got to have an ultrasound in late March, where it was confirmed that God has blessed us with a strong, healthy and active baby BOY 😍 whom is due in August. The level of GRATITUDE that I felt was unreal !! I feel like I kinda missed half of the pregnancy, but I am SO excited to be a BOY-MUM 😁🎉💙 I think that everything has finally sunk in now, and it somehow feels like a “first-time” pregnancy!

This pregnancy has been so different from my first two. First of all, life is so busy with two little ones, that I often forget that I’m having a third. It tends to be Naomi who reminds me ☺️ I feel like she has been such an integral part of this pregnancy! During the last half of 2021, she would often pray, “God, please give me 1 brother and 5 sisters!” It was always cute and funny to hear. She was so excited when I told her the God was answering her prayers …and then began “declaring” that she was going to have a brother called Caleb 😆 She was telling everyone around her, even before we knew that it was a boy! Well, that little girl is on the path of becoming a prophetess 😁 – besides the part about the baby’s name!!! It’s been a joy to watch her faith and relationship with God growing over these months. My heart melts when I hear her say things like, “Jesus hears me; He answers my prayers!” She is going to be such a sweet big sister to this little boy 💙 She’s definitely the one who talks to him the most…I’m sure that they will have a special bond 😊

As of today, I’m coping quite well with pregnancy. The nausea occurs about once a week, and this time I don’t have much of a problem with morning sickness! However, I am struggling with low blood pressure, and thus become short of breath and dizzy quite easily. I’m supposed to be resting more and not exerting myself too much …but can someone please explain to me how I can do that with a 2 year old Wild Princess, and a 4 year old Delightful Rock??! 😆😆

It is well – in Jesus’ name 🙏

We ask for prayers for my overall health in the last stretch of the pregnancy; for a simple, smooth and safe delivery; and all of us to adjust smoothly to life with this sweet little boy! And for those who are wondering ..YES, I plan to have another homebirth!! So please pray for it to be as amazing (or better) than my last birth!

These were the thoughts of a Loyal Disciple… I hope that you were blessed -x-
